In observing his paintings you can see that, within the painting there is poetry." I think you've captured that here. We adopted Jane in China and experienced Pearl River promenading in Guangchou and had numerous conversations about the recently receded flooding near Wuhan, our adoption city. The pictures remind me of our trip, which was a long time ago now and actually seems even longer than the actual number of years might suggest. Much water under the bridge since then.
