"Those men whom the gods wish..."

Those men whom the gods wish
to destroy, they first make
mad, and then, when white flecks
of foam speckle the men’s lips -- the spittle
of bewilderment, of overpowering visions -- the gods
throw their heads back and they
laugh and laugh, they laugh and they
laugh, until they are rolling on the floor
of the heavenly TV lounge
