In the end, the constellations emerge
Rich and bewildering in paratactic
Defiance of the night's strange high blankness --
But don't changes always illuminate that way,
A logic of radiance, no signs or sighs,
Only stony silences crossing lines with
The phone in eternity that rings and rings?
