I was a bit worried folks might not recall or for that matter ever have known of the once upon a time smooth-as-a-dream ultra cool New York Knicks point guard of the late 60s/early 70s Walt "Clyde the Glide" Frazier--whose nickname (acquired from the film Bonnie and Clyde) may help explain the otherwise for-old-people-and-trivia-buffs-only metaphor. How time flies. Or glides, as the case may be for the fortunate few...
