One Rickshaw

One rickshaw may hide another, just as
one terraced rice field may
hide another. So gentle and friendly
and for that matter so old, the banked rows slanting
and tilting along the hillsides in lovely
sinuous patterns, with ponds between,
just as one imagines it was long ago.

    I admire anyone who can get away with the word "lovely" and you do. This is a lovely piece and makes me feel better every time I read it.

    I showed a short piece of mine to a friend and it wasn't about some horrible thing and he called me a bad name that did not rhyme with caltures. Why is that?

    Almost. And/or if only... for the fumes, if nothing else.

    Robb, thanks for the wicked link. Banksy is the masked man of Modern Art. The Lone Ranger didn't need a hood and a voice scrambler, though. Things were so much simpler then. And a wall speaks so much more eloquently than a silver bullet.

    There was/is a bit of classic Banksy here.
