Abbas Kiarostami))) a soul and a vision inviting soul and vision. oh!
ReplyDeleteBendito serás en tu entrar, y bendito en tu salir.
ReplyDeleteDeuteromonio 28:6
An unearthly rippling of unspoken truths of the human soul and of the physical Earth passed through this world with the gentle breeze that was the art of Kiarostami. The wind carries it away and brings it back home again, an hour or thirty years later, pure gift. Where Is the House of the Friend, Life and Nothing More, The Wind Will Carry Us, Close-Up, Taste of Cherry... for me the films, each in their turn, opened a new understanding. Eyes gone, but I continue to watch and explore in mind and memory, frame by frame, still learning.
ReplyDeleteYou never forget a great poem.
