Dunc, I've been thinking of you, with all this that's oertaken your town.
ReplyDeleteThose hands are reaching out from a place "freedom-loving" Americans only know, if they know it at all, as a site of one of their wars. And a lost one, the kind that are the hardest to remember.
Though the wars are all lost now, and what has not yet been blown to bits may well be, soon enough...
So many boats burning.
Well I've said "your town". I know Brum is not Mancs. Still if I'm not too badly mistaken, it appears from here all this now seems to envelop a Greater Town, including, in that thought, both.
