As I sd to my
friend, because we are
always talking

about our favorite
faux-boho designer label clothing
ads in the glossies

as we drive down
our shady suburban lane
to the mall -- Emily, I

sd, which was not her
name, the Christmas rush sur-
rounds us, what

can we do against
it, or else, shall we &
why not, buy some goddamn Nan Lepore,

drive, she sd, for
christ’s sake, look
out where yr going.

Ha, ha--you old sneak of a clothes horse--before I read your hilarious take on Creeley's most well-known poem, I flashed on Roethke's I Knew a Woman--I thought you'd like to know.

This is good to read and to look at -- easy on the eyes and fun for the ears. Curtis

Winter solstice a wonderful time for a laugh! The best thing about that dress is the zipper that works from both the bottom and the top. Something to grin about, eh? Does spark an image or two.
Much love from our house to yours...

Martha,

Likewise to you & Baz from us both.

Yes, that dress. A pastel-toned Kleenex with a two-way zipper for $238. (That's cited as an order-now bargain price.)
