Just sayin', Seldom payin'. Always weighin'
down from the top, and the rest is gravity, the jay & the americans
the crow & the irish
but did o'b know gerry adams had been turned away
at the gate. what did he know and when did he know it
and do the irish care
after all marvell had them admiring the lash in the grip of the killer cromwell
the black jade of the crowblue musselshell
green anyway never seemed the colour of the ancestors more a purplish blue
as of a deep bruise trod
upon over centuries, as though it were
a convenient road

The Wider Image: Thirst for clean water...Some 650 million people, or one in 10 of the world's population, have no access to safe water, putting them at risk of infectious diseases and premature death. Dirty water and poor sanitation can cause severe diarrhoeal diseases in children, killing 900 under-five a day across the world, according to United Nations estimates. World Water Day, marked this year on March 22, highlights various concerns about the world's water resources, and in 2016 is focusing on how good access to safe water can create paid work and contribute to a greener economy. Great lines, Tom. Though I don't think Bord Failte will be borrowing them. Happy St. Paddy's Day to you.

"Just sayin'" Happy Saint Patrick's Day Tom -- had a dream last night about visiting you and A in Berkeley, looking at the books on the shelves (and more), everyone happy and still young, "as though it were/ a convenient road"

Many thanks, lads. Assuming the Gerry Adams rebuff was merely a dumb chain-o'-command faux pas (probably at least as easy to be an idiot with a tablet as with a clipboard), still, that's a curious bit of Casa Blanca reverse-politesse. Though of course once Drumpf has moved his own mob in -- that uniquely diverse crew of obedient brassknuckles goons and non-speaking Eastern European supermodels -- made-over the joint, put in the gymnasium-sized tanning salon, gilded the doors of all the elevators, re-named it Casa de Oro and installed those 1700 custom-made magnum-force chandeliers, this present patch of history may look like... what, America Great? Great America? America Kind and Gentle? Here in the right-nowness of it all, you'd think it would be bygones on that score. Totally Hegelian. The Last Gasp. O'B diverts over Havana and enlists in FARC.

My fam traceable back to milieux shown here by the way pretty much ends with a whimper in the abject spectacle of moi but I must say, while the wheels haven't significantly improved -- still cart only, primitivo haulage & drayage as per "the day" -- the hats are, well, even more various. (More exposed fossil frontage to be covered every day.)
