Any enemy of Bibi's...
Something tells me Bibi hasn't been tipped to the existence of bobsan88 as yet.
But, yes!
That brilliantly captured light from another world, or seemingly from an earlier, clearer time in the planet history of this world, which goes such a long way toward making these photos so unique, is of course simply a relatively blemish-free version of the light of this world... or perhaps better to say it's the light of what this world might be like, had human planet history not happened... or were this world located where NZ is.
Sez bobsan88: "...as we are an island nation with a small population (4.6M) we have very little air pollution so the light is strong and clear most of the time, particularly in the early morning..."
It appears early morning is the hour at which most of these pictures were made. Then again, I've also shown a few of the stunning "cinematic" nocturnes which are another of the alluring features of bobsan88's work.
By the by, side note, our in-house Kiwi assures us that all those corrugated iron building surfaces don't represent a fanciful architectural design obsession on the part of the photographer. "That's what buildings look like in NZ."
