You little stars that live in skies
So runs my dream but what am I?
And with no language but a cry
As it turns it picks up an accelerated
And with no language but a cry
As it turns it picks up an accelerated
random stranger on a train
psychomimetic reflected in somebody's lost
glasses
glasses
freako-whacko-future
day in the park
mechanical wailing unheard in dream
kind of
momentum
kind of
momentum
spinning off the rails
out of control exploding
and the kids...

Today's paper reported that at least 29 children died. Children in a park. . . the photo of the crows. . . .
As a headline read the other day: 'Je Suis Sick of This'! For far too many, this day was just another day.
Maureen,
Thanks for staying alive and caring. World needs more of you, soon.
I guess it's the target location -- a common urban park enjoyed by Muslims and Christians alike, the modest play structures and toys, all the human familiarity of a day in the park -- that makes this event seem so particularly horrible, so desolating even to think about. The unintelligibility, the inarticulate nature of the strike.

Panjabi MC: Snake Charmer (2012)
Tom, I spent my teenage years living in a place near this park and used to go there very often. I don't think I will ever again.
In the war to win "hearts and minds" I don't think there are many left.
Thanks for the poem.
Keep well,
b.
Of course I thought of you the moment the news of this horror broke.
Peace be with you, my friend.
